Drew Moore – 2019 Achiever of the Year
The Achiever of the Year Award was established to honor an outstanding individual with a disability or disadvantaging condition who has shown great progress and accomplishment in overcoming barriers to employment. Drew Moore’s path to receiving this award has been nothing short of a miracle.
Donald Croker – 2019 Goodwill Works! Award
The Goodwill Works! Award honors an outstanding individual who has shown great progress and accomplishment while still benefiting from the Goodwill work environment. As an exemplary employee admired by his supervisors and co-workers, Donald Croker certainly fits that description.
Ivan D’Arrigo – 2018 Graduate of the Year
Ivan’s journey to being named Graduate of the Year began in the fall of 2017 while living in Northern California. The Tubbs Fire as it came to be known, ended up being, at that time, the most destructive wildfire in California history. Najiyyah Shakir – 2019 Graduate of the Year
Without warning, her company closed their South Carolina operations and outsourced Najiyyah’s job overseas. Najiyyah was in denial, felt paralyzed, not knowing what to do next. What she did know was that she had a family to raise and she was running out of time and money.
Maurice McKoy – 2018 Goodwill Works! Award

Evelyn Hinman – 2018 Achiever of the Year
Determined to provide for herself, Evelyn joined Palmetto Goodwill’s Senior Community Service Employment Program after a series of personal and professional challenges that left her unemployed and without hope. Through hard work and perseverance Evelyn has overcome numerous disappointments and obstacles that can serve as inspiration for anyone attempting to overcome barriers to employment.
