FIBER OPTIC INDUSTRY CERTIFICATION TRAINING

PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The STAR fiber optic program is designed to prepare you for entry level data cable installation in data centers, new/retrofit construction and electrical companies. This program is for anyone who is interested, and great for recent high school graduates and veterans. 

PROGRAM BENEFITS:

• Get certified in OSHA 10 construction, first aid, CPR and forklift operation

2025 COURSE SCHEDULE:

• May 5 through May 26:  8AM-5PM
• August 4 through August 29: 8AM-5PM

PROGRAM OUTLINE:

• Week 1: Orientation and OSHA 10 training
• Week 2: Facilitator-led study and employer visits
• Week 3: Live training and first exam
• Week 4: Second exam, career navigation with employer visits followed by graduation
