Perhaps someone on your holiday shopping list is an avid reader. If so, stop by one of our 31 locations before Christmas to find popular book titles without paying book-store prices. In fact, you can score some popular titles for less than $2.00! For example, when searching through the shelves of our Rivers Avenue location we spotted George R.R. Martin’s now famous A Game of Thrones – the first volume in the series of a Song of Ice and Fire novels. In fact, we also spotted the second volume, A Clash of Kings, at our West Ashley location. While at Rivers Avenue, we also spotted popular titles like the Hunger Games, Harry Potter and Twilight.
Often, books make great gifts for recipients who have upcoming travel plans and will be on a flight for several hours or longer. Speaking of traveling, we were in our Mount Pleasant (Six Mile) location when we spotted this wall of luggage. If someone on your shopping list is always on the go or is planning a post-holiday trip, then luggage might be a great gift. Best of all, luggage from Goodwill is priced way below what department stores will charge for practically the same item. Believe it or not, some of the luggage on the shelf was priced at just $3.99!
For those with friends or family members who love hosting gatherings and working in the kitchen, consider some unique kitchenware finds. While wandering around our Rivers Avenue location, we spotted this Cuisinart brand frozen yogurt & ice cream maker. If ice cream isn’t interesting enough, there’s plenty of other unique gift ideas like glassware to be found. Consider picking up some nice glassware and pairing it with a bottle of wine.
Another popular holiday gift in recent years has been a Keurig coffee machine. Luckily, we spotted Keurig’s at both our West Ashley and Mount Pleasant (Six Mile) locations. For just $12.99 at West Ashley, you could give the gift of coffee this holiday. Similar models compare at more than $50.00 at traditional department stores.
