ServSafe is a one day food and beverage safety training and certificate program administered by the National Restaurant Association. The program is accredited by ANSI and the Conference for Food Protection. Sanitation certification is required by most restaurants as a basic credential for their management staff. Palmetto Goodwill offers this training to BOTH individuals looking to become certified or businesses looking to have their employees receive this training.
The START (Skills, Tasks And Results Training) program was developed by the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute to help individuals get on track to begin their careers in hospitality or continue their education. Palmetto Goodwill works with businesses in and out of the hospitality industry who desire to have their employees trained and certified with these important skills. Each six-week course provides successful candidates with three national certifications in housekeeping, guest services and hospitality from the American Hotel & Lodging Institute.
